# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It's the one non-alcoholic drink that makes everyone at the party feel included in the fancy toast moment.
  • Fresh mint syrup transforms a simple glass of juice into something that tastes way more complicated than it actually is.
  • Crushed ice and lemon slices make even the littlest guest feel like they're sipping something legitimately special.
02 -
  • Don't skip the cooling step for your syrup—pouring hot syrup over crushed ice melts everything and creates a watery disappointment.
  • If your mint leaves are store-bought and smell faintly like plastic wrap, soak them in cold water for five minutes first to wake them back up.
03 -
  • Make your mint syrup the morning of your event so you're not stressed about timing and can actually enjoy the party.
  • Keep extra fresh mint in a glass of water in your refrigerator so if someone asks for a second drink, you're ready to deliver immediately.
