01 - 20 large fresh strawberries, washed and thoroughly dried, leaves intact
→ Chocolate
02 - 7 oz high-quality dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped
→ Optional Toppings
03 - 2 tbsp chopped toasted nuts (pistachios, almonds, hazelnuts)
04 - 2 tbsp white chocolate, melted (for drizzling)
05 - 2 tbsp sprinkles or edible glitter
# Directions:
01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to place dipped strawberries on.
02 - Place the chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl and melt over a saucepan of simmering water or microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
03 - Hold each strawberry by the leaves, dip into melted chocolate, twirling to coat evenly, then let excess drip off.
04 - Set the coated strawberry on the prepared baking sheet immediately after dipping.
05 - Sprinkle chopped nuts or edible glitter onto the chocolate before it sets. For white chocolate drizzle, wait for dark chocolate to set, then drizzle melted white chocolate with a fork or piping bag.
06 - Continue dipping and decorating the remaining strawberries following the previous steps.
07 - Let the strawberries stand at room temperature for about 30 minutes or refrigerate briefly to speed up setting.
08 - Present chilled or at room temperature for optimal enjoyment.
