Banana Strawberry Santa Skewers (Printable version)

01 - 2 large bananas
02 - 12 medium strawberries

03 - 24 mini chocolate chips for eyes
04 - 2 tablespoons white chocolate or vanilla frosting for beard and pom-pom
05 - 12 mini marshmallows for hat

06 - 12 wooden skewers or cocktail sticks

# Directions:

01 - Peel bananas and cut into 12 equal rounds, approximately 1/2 inch thick.
02 - Wash strawberries and remove the hulls.
03 - Thread one banana slice onto each skewer, followed by a strawberry with the pointed end facing up to mimic Santa's hat.
04 - Use a small dab of melted white chocolate or frosting to adhere one mini marshmallow to the tip of each strawberry.
05 - Apply a small amount of white chocolate or frosting below the banana slice using a toothpick to create the beard.
06 - Press two mini chocolate chips gently into each banana slice to form the eyes.
07 - Arrange finished skewers on a platter and refrigerate until ready to serve.
